We will schedule a time for the therapist to come to your home and perform a thorough evaluation of your child in the natural environment to determine if your child is eligible for physical therapy services through the Illinois Early Intervention system.
Physical Therapy Treatment
If the IFSP team decides physical therapy services are warranted, then we will schedule with the caregiver to come to the home (or other natural environment such as day care) to provide therapy services.
IFSP Development
We will meet together as a team (caregivers, service coordinator, developmental therapy, and
any other disciplines that have evaluated your child) to determine your goals and what services
you are interested in for your child.
Caregiver Education
Demonstration of and instruction in techniques to improve your child's gross motor skills,
which the caregivers will work on with the child outside of therapy time. Caregiver carry-
through is vital to the success of therapy.
Special Needs
We have experience working with premature infants, children with developmental delay,
torticollis, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, down's syndrome and more.
